SOMERSET, NJ – Students, faculty and staff of Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School (TEECS) were back to school Wednesday morning.

“We were happy to see our halls filled with the smiling faces of our students, reads a TEECS social media post .”Kids were happy to see each other again and begin a new year. Our younger students participated in many fun activities to welcome them to their first day of school – face painting, balloon animals and farm animals.”

TEECS is a tuition-free public school and the first K­-12 School in the state of NJ to focus specifically on green/renewable energy.
