Environmental Alliance Club – Middle/High School Students:

There’s no time like the present to teach TEECS students to take care of our planet and act for a cleaner tomorrow! The Environmental Alliance Club (EAC) is a newly founded club at Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School. EAC is a volunteer-based club run by middle and high school students and supported by Mrs. J Patel. The club will work towards increasing awareness of environmental issues among school staff, administration, students, and others. During meetings, action will be taken to create an eco-friendly community. EAC club members will assist in planning new activities and projects in school that contribute to a greener future.

Green Team Club – Elementary Students:

A Green Team is an organized group of elementary students who work together to make their school and/or local community more sustainable. They collaborate to maintain the school garden, find and implement solutions to reduce waste and increase recycling through advocacy and action.
