Since the inception of TEECS’ Green Teams, we have been working towards many different awards and certifications to highlight our sustainability efforts. Some of our most recent recognitions include:
- In 2022, TEECS received the Eco-Schools USA/National Wildlife Federation Bronze Certification
- In 2022, TEECS received a $500 grant and was selected as a pilot school for the energy edition from Race For The Plant launched by Project Green School
- In 2021, TEECS received the $3,000 Whole Kids Foundation Garden, Grant
- In 2021, TEECS was accepted into the 21-22 Panasonic Student Eco Citizenship Program
- In 2019, TEECS received Sustainable Jersey for Schools Bronze Certification
- In 2019, TEECS received the $2,000 Sustainable Jersey for Schools Garden Grant funded by PSEG Foundation.
