Dear Parents and Guardians,
After careful review of the survey results from parents and teachers, and with recommendations of the Reopening Plan Committee, TEECS will open school with a modified in-person instructional model for the Fall of the 2020-2021 school year.
Students and staff returning to the building will be mandated to wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times. For more information on state guidelines, please visit https://www.nj.gov/education/reopening/NJDOETheRoadBack.pdf.
The Reopening Committee is working on a detailed plan to ensure the safety of all students and staff. This plan will be released before students and staff return to school this Fall.
Please complete the attached form and choose your student’s Fall 2020 Instructional Preference. This form needs to be completed for ALL students by July 24, 2020. It is imperative to complete and submit this form on time in order for us to successfully reopen the school.
Please note that once this choice is made, this will be your child’s schedule until the end of December 2020. Due to state guidelines on social distancing in classrooms and on buses, we will not be able to accommodate changes. The school is scheduled to run as per the current 2020-2021 calendar and students will follow the same class schedule at school and at home. Extended Care options will be provided to students who will be in the building on their scheduled days.
