31 Oct Franklin High School for a Model UN Conference
On Oct. 28th, TEECS Model UN Club went to Franklin High School for a Model UN Conference. It was a great introductory experience for a lot of new members, and a stepping stone for them to launch off into the future! We also had four students win awards at the conference: 1. Ansvika Kumar received Outstanding Delegate for UN High Commissioner for Refugees. 2. Manav Singh received Outstanding Delegate for UN Environmental Programme. 3. Saarah Abdul Maajid received Best Delegate for UN Human Settlements Programme. 4. Zara Uddin received Distinguished Delegate for UN Children’s Fund.
