18 Oct The Funding the Future Club hosted a fundraiser called Eyes of The World.
All money raised will go towards giving people cataract surgery. Today, the club handed over an envelope of almost $1700! Thank you to all who donated!
Eyes of the World is a youth fundraising initiative tailored for students and schools. Eyes of the World brings students and teachers together to raise awareness and money to help people who are blind due to cataracts in Mali, Africa. Embrace Relief has been supporting three medical clinics in Mali since 2013, which have completed over 36,000 cataract surgeries and 500,000 health screenings. Implementing Eyes of the World opens a student’s eyes to the importance and strength of caring about others. Just $100 raised will give the beautiful and precious gift of sight to a man, woman, or child in Mali.
