26 Jan Energy-saving action plan for school/home based on the total Gas and Electricity Consumption
Since November 2021, TEECS’ Environmental Alliance Club has partnered with the Race For The Planet Program launched by Project Green School. Over the past few weeks, EAC students have been busy collecting data and analyzing energy consumption at their homes as well as at school.
Students completed an energy-saving action plan based on the total gas and electricity consumption at both school and their homes. The students’ hard work has been rewarded with a $500 grant, and TEECS has been selected as one of the pilot schools for the energy edition in the US.
In the next step of the pilot program, EAC students will be connecting soon with another pilot school in Costa Rica and have a conversation on energy-saving actions via zoom.
