SOMERSET, NJ – Middle School students from the Thomas Edison EnergySmart School Science Olympiad Team competed at the NJ Regional Science Olympiad on Jan. 9 at Camden Community College.

TEECS won a total of 16 medals in multiple categories at the tournament, such as fossils, meteorology, wheeled vehicles, anatomy and many others.

“We are thrilled to announce that the team clinched an impressive overall 3rd place at the NJ Regional Science Olympiad, earning them the qualification to compete in the NJ State competition,” TEECS Lead Person, Oguz Yildiz told TAPinto in an email. “Congratulations to the entire TEECS Middle School Science Olympiad Team for their remarkable accomplishments.”
