Speech and Debate

Aarav Desai, Vinay Annamalai, and Haris Qamar, all juniors at Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School (TEECS), have distinguished themselves as some of the nation’s top speech and debate competitors. Through consistent excellence in competition, they have each earned recognition among the top 7% of all members of the National Speech & Debate Association. Over the past three years, they have accumulated more than 580 NSDA points through competitive success and service to the speech and debate community. Their achievements reflect a strong commitment to communication, leadership, and academic excellence.
