16 Mar TEECS VEX Robotics Team Heads to the World Championship for the Fifth Time!
We are thrilled to share that the Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School VEX IQ Elementary Team, X-Stream, has qualified for the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship!
The 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship will take place from April 21–30, 2026, at the America’s Center Convention Complex in St. Louis, Missouri. This prestigious event brings together top student teams from around the world to compete in the VEX IQ Robotics Competition.
Our team competed at NJIT on Sunday, March 15th, where X-Stream delivered an outstanding performance. They received two awards: 1st in the Skills Qualification Matches and finished 1st overall in the Finals. Their success at the New Jersey State VEX IQ Championship Tournament earned them both the Teamwork Championship Award and the Robot Skills Champion Award an incredible accomplishment that reflects their hard work, teamwork, and technical excellence.
Congratulations to Team X-Stream on this amazing achievement and for representing TEECS on the global stage once again!
We also want to congratulate our second team, Goofy Goobers, for competing so well at the state championship. We are proud of their effort, determination, and the way they represented our school.
Best of luck to Team X-Stream as they prepare for the World Championship. We are so proud of both teams!
