The best way to contact the school is by emailing the Main Office at info@energysmartschool.org. Your inquiry will be reviewed and forwarded to the appropriate staff member for assistance. You may also contact the Main Office by phone at (732) 412-7643. Please note that, in some cases, you may be asked to communicate by email or schedule an appointment to ensure that your question or concern receives the appropriate attention.

Please note, enrollment questions must be emailed. We do not discuss enrollment verbally on the phone.

We use MealTime Apply Online to manage student meal accounts. A link is available on our website (teecs.org) under Parents / Food Service, or you may visit MealTime Apply Online. Please follow the prompts to create and set up your student’s account.

You will need your student’s ID number to complete the registration process. If you do not know your student’s ID number, please contact Mrs. Allison for assistance at jallison@energysmartschool.org.

FOOD ALLERGIES/RESTRICTIONS:

If your student has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please be sure to notify Mrs. Allison as well as the school nurse at nurse@energysmartschool.org.

ADDING STUDENTS, FUNDS & ALERTS:

Once your account is established, you can use the available menu options to add additional students, deposit funds, and set up low-balance alerts.

If you have questions or experience any issues while setting up your student’s account, please contact Mrs. Allison or MealTime directly at support@mealtimeclm.com.

The PTO is open to all parents and guardians and welcomes new members and volunteers. If you are interested in getting involved or have any questions or concerns, please contact the PTO at pto@energysmartschool.org.

We also encourage families to ask about joining your student’s grade-level WhatsApp group, which provides an opportunity to connect and communicate with other parents and guardians throughout the school year.

Our afterschool programs are listed on our website (teecs.org) under Academics / Clubs & Extended Care. There, you will find the current club and extended care schedules, descriptions of each program, and applicable fees. All information and registration instructions are emailed to families before each club period.

For the safety and security of all students, advance notification is required for all early pickups. Please email your child’s teacher and the Main Office at info@energysmartschool.org by 10:00 a.m. on the day of the early pickup. This allows us to properly notify our security staff and ensure a smooth and secure dismissal process.

Upon arrival, please check in with security. Your child will then be called to the Main Office for dismissal.

Please note, we do not allow early picks after 2 pm on a full day or after 11 am on an early dismissal day.

CMP is offered to our middle and high school students and is designed to encourage strong academic skills while fostering curiosity, confidence, creativity, and a well-rounded approach to learning. While academic achievement is important, we believe true success also comes from developing strong interpersonal skills, character, and a genuine enthusiasm for learning.

CMP provides students with opportunities to explore multiple disciplines and participate in a variety of activities designed to complement their academic experience. Students work in groups with the guidance of a TEECS Volunteer Teacher Mentor. Volunteer Mentors follow the CMP curriculum and work closely with the CMP Coordinator to support student growth and development.

The program is designed to evolve over time, with a commitment to continuously developing and improving its curriculum and instructional approach. Through CMP, we hope to help students build the skills, experiences, and confidence they need to become well-rounded individuals and successful members of their future academic communities.

Yes! TEECS provides opportunities for students in the younger grades to participate in a variety of academic, STEM, and enrichment competitions throughout the school year. Opportunities may include science, mathematics, robotics, and other academic challenges, depending on the grade level and the programs offered each year.

These experiences encourage students to develop problem-solving skills, teamwork, creativity, and confidence while allowing them to apply what they learn in the classroom to real-world challenges. Students and families are notified about available competitions and participation opportunities as they become available.

Parents and guardians can access their student’s curriculum on the TEECS website under Academics / K–12 Curriculum. This section provides an overview of the curriculum and academic expectations for each grade level.
