15 Oct NJASC Award Programs
We are proud to announce that Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School (TEECS) is now an official member of the New Jersey Association of Student Councils (NJASC)! NJASC provides schools and student leaders with a variety of award programs through which they can earn statewide recognition for their dedication and efforts to discover, develop, and foster student leadership in school and community.
Our students have already made their mark. Daniella Alabi and Mahek Khan were named the 2025-2026 Student Leaders of the Year, chosen from among thousands of students who participated in the NJASC conference. Their leadership, initiative, and commitment to our school community set an example for all of us. Congratulations, Daniella and Mahek!
We also celebrate Ms. Syed, who was nominated as Advisor of the Year out of hundreds of schools that participated last year. Her guidance and dedication continue to inspire our student leaders and strengthen our school community.
Thank you to our students, advisors, and families for your continued support. We look forward to growing our student leadership programs and bringing more statewide recognition to TEECS. Congratulations to all!
