TEECS Builds Bridges Across Borders Through New Friendship School Agreement with Beijing School in China
Somerset, NJ – September 30, 2026 – Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School (TEECS) is proud to announce a new Friendship School Agreement with Beijing Fengtai No. 2 Middle School Group in China, creating new opportunities for students and educators to connect, collaborate, and exchange ideas across cultures.
The partnership, “Building Bridges Across Borders: Connecting Classrooms, Cultures, and Future Innovators,” reflects TEECS’s commitment to providing students with educational experiences that extend beyond the classroom and encourage global learning and collaboration.
Through the partnership, TEECS and Beijing Fengtai No. 2 Middle School Group will explore opportunities for collaboration in STEM, renewable energy, artificial intelligence, the arts, cultural exchange, and sports. These areas will provide opportunities for students and educators to share knowledge, experiences, and perspectives while learning from one another.
The Friendship School Agreement will also encourage cultural exchange and mutual understanding, giving students opportunities to learn about their peers in another part of the world while sharing their own school and community experiences.
