18 Feb TEECS National Speech & Debate team had a meaningful experience at the Harvard University National Speech & Debate Contest.
While we didn’t advance to the next stage this time, we’re proud of the effort, growth, and resilience our students showed throughout the competition.
We earned around 12 round wins, and although this wasn’t our strongest overall result, every round gave us valuable momentum for what’s ahead. The students felt a mix of disappointment and happiness, but they also showed maturity, heart, and determination.
Most importantly, their hard work has already earned qualification for both Districts and States, a major accomplishment and a testament to how far this club has come.
Onward and upward. We’re proud, grateful, and ready for the next challenge.
