From March 7th – 10th the TEECS Model UN Club went to New York City for the National High School Model United Nations(NHSMUN) Conference. TEECS brought 19 students from the club who represented the countries of Austria and Bulgaria. Throughout the conference, students debated various topics and policies with other high school students from over 60 different countries. The TEECS Model UN Club did an amazing job and are all excited to return next year! Below is a list of awards we received at the conference!
1. Armaan Kapoor & Kris Chaudhary – The Award of Excellence representing Austria in The Commission on Science and Technology for Development
2. Zara Uddin & Kavinitha Venkatesh – The Award of Distinction representing Bulgaria in The Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.
