26 Nov Rutgers Model UN Conference – TEECS Model UN Club
From Nov. 21st to Nov. 24th the TEECS Model UN Club attended the Rutgers Model UN Conference. This conference is an intense, 14 hours a day conference where students take on current day challenges in the world and create resolutions. Our club represented two countries this year, Iceland and Serbia.
RUMUN 2024 was a critical stepping stone for the TEECS Model UN Club. Our students participated fully and were open to feedback from myself and their Committee Chairs. I truly believe this conference will lead to our students finding even more success in the future. I am VERY proud of the TEECS Model UN Club after this weekend! Great job everyone!
TEECS students won the following awards:
Best Delegate Award – Manav Singh & Shrey Sankhe – United Nations Human Rights Council – Iceland
Best Delegate Award – Jemuel Oppong & Ansvika Kumar – World Health Organization – Iceland
Most Improved Award – Kris Chaudhary & Armaan Kapoor – Disarmament and International Security Committee – Iceland
