Today, Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School celebrated Halloween with its annual Trunk or Treat event, followed by a fun-filled costume contest. It was a brisk and sunny morning—perfect for students to show off their costumes and enjoy the festivities. Parents participated with decorated trunks, ready to hand out candy to excited students, and TEECS provided them with warm coffee to enjoy the event.
To wrap up the celebration, students gathered in the gym for the Halloween Costume Contest, with prizes awarded in four categories:
Best “Green” Costume (made from recycled materials)
Most Original/Creative Costume
Best Superhero Costume
Best Duo or Group Costume
It was a fantastic morning, with smiles all around!
