Free Peer-to-Peer Tutoring at Schoolhouse.world by Latif

We are thrilled to announced that Latif, a dedicated 11th grade student at TEECS, was invited to join Schoolhouse.world, an edtech non-profit started by the founder of Khan Academy Sal Khan. Schoolhouse.world is a free, peer-to-peer tutoring platform on which anyone, anywhere can receive live help, earn shareable certifications in the topics they learn about, and have the option to become a tutor in the topics they master. Latif’s invitation was based on his high SAT score as a sophomore student and his outstanding contributions within Khan Academy’s educational community. In addition to peer-tutoring in SAT Math, Reading, and Writing, Latif also holds free tutoring sessions for Competition Mathematics prep. He has also taken on the exciting challenge of peer-tutoring AP Physics 1 that he became eligible for after earning a perfect score of 5 on the AP exam last year.

Latif also recently completed College Board’s BigFuture Ambassador program for the 2023-2024 educational year.
